Welcome to Miami

It’s time to check into one of the hotels Miami has to offer and then hit the town. This is a multicultural melting pot to the tenth power. And you can see it all at South Beach. South Beach is the vacation spot for even the locals of Florida. Maybe that is a tip for the rest of the US tourists or other world travelers to take from the state of Florida.  Looks like South Beach is a must see. Of course most of Florida is like different degrees of summer all the time, so you really can come for a visit just about any time.

Most people come to Florida to get away from the cold winters they endure where ever they come from. However, if you can make it to South Beach Florida between May and August then you will avoid the big tourist crowds. This is a great time to get the good rates on hospitality and a sure in to any restaurant in town. The worst time to go for most travelers looking for some down time is between March and April. This is when the colleges from all over take there Spring Break and the students pack onto the beaches and streets of this crazy town.

While you visit South Beach in Miami, the beach is not the only main attraction. You can head over to Lincoln Road and watch the people go by. Much of this street is closed for vehicle traffic so it is all happening on foot. There are so many shops, galleries and museums to wander through. Visitors can also find a fantastic restaurant with out door seating to enjoy the unique crown of people going by. You never know what you will see. Once again, the restaurant cuisines reflect the cultural influences of the many immigrants who have created this city. You can find Italian, Cuban and New World restaurants.
